Funding Awarded for Phase 2 of the North End Braes Stabilisation Project

Posted by CBAG on May 11, 2019

We are very pleased to announce that CBAG have been awarded funding from the St. John’s Hill Wind Farm Community Fund, which will allow us to hire the equipment and purchase the materials required to complete the North End braes stabilisation project.

This second phase comprises levelling of the slope, re-seeding with grass, deployment of an erosion control blanket which will be pinned down, and finally deployment of a geogrid mesh which will be secured with the already installed Platipus anchors.

Planning and procurement for this second phase is already underway, with a target completion before the summer holidays. As per usual we rely on volunteers to execute this project, so please get in touch if you are able to help.

CBAG would like to thank the St. John’s Hill Wind Farm Community Fund for their generous contribution towards this project. The Community Fund was established by “REV Project Company No.1 Limited”, the company who developed the St. John’s Hill Wind Farm, and is administered by the Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP).
